Aerate the soil deep down with Herbasol
Actisol has developed equipment for deep aeration that respects soil life.
Herbasol encourages the development of micro-organisms and reactivates mineral elements, making them available to plants. It limits erosion, facilitates water infiltration and encourages root development for healthy soil. A single pass in the autumn saves tonnage/ha in dry matter the following spring.
Equipped with opening discs, tines and a tyre roller, each element plays an essential role:
The disc opens up the passage for the tooth, which cracks the soil without disrupting the horizons, and the tyre roller controls the working depth while re-supporting the line.
It is also used in the mechanical fight against rodents that damage meadows. Tests carried out by FREDON in several départements have demonstrated its effectiveness in destroying galleries. The passage of the tooth causes them to collapse, making the soil more permeable.
The Herbasol range comprises twin-beam chassis with 4, 5 or 6 tines and a fixed working width of 3 metres.
New : Herbasol adapts to slopes
Actisol’s DNA is to develop its equipment to meet the needs of its customers. Some crops, such as kiwifruit, are grown on mounds. That’s why the Herbasol range has been fitted with optional adjustable extensions to split the inter-row and slopes in a single pass, saving real time.
These extensions enable the Herbasol to work up to 4 metres wide in combination with a 6- or 8-tyre roller. The mechanical folding and unfolding system offers the possibility of choosing a free and easy working angle, thanks to a turnbuckle adjustment.
This new system also ensures safe road travel.
