The Stell’Air was presented with Actisol seed hopper for the very first time at SIMA 2022.
The Stell’Air comprises a twin-beam frame available in various working widths: from 3 to 4 metres for fixed models. From 4 to.5 metres for folding models. Each star is independent and operates on the soil surface at a reduced angle allowing for work at between 7 and 15 kph. The twisted blades impact the ground by vertical rotation and move the soil by micro jets.
The tool is equipped to accommodate stabilising wheels and a control roller. The latter ensures stale seedbed precision and quality. A Profil harrow can also be hitched to level the soil, break up the straw, separate clods of earth from roots, etc.
In the event of an obstacle, the assembly is secured thanks to elastomer shock absorbers which allow the ground contours to be followed and provide great flexibility. Its independent stars provide greater versatility for destroying plant cover by undercutting it.
The Stell’Air can be used alone or with an Actisol cracker. This tandem allows, in a single pass, deep cracking and shallow tillage without mixing the horizons. This versatile machinery responds to ecological, agronomic, and economic challenges. It limits the use of herbicides through mechanical tillage and promotes water retention in the soil while preserving biodiversity.
Stell'air + Seeder innovation
The Stell’Air + Seedercombination’s objective is, on the one hand, to increase tool versatility. Thanks to this proposal, Actisol allows full plant cover management, from sowing to destruction. On the other hand, the stars create a flow of soil fostering seedbed preparation.
The seed tubes are positioned between the stars, and the roller promotes soil/seed contact. This seeder is intended for sowing plant cover with a cover sowing technique that does not require high precision, only good ground work by the tool. This allows high-speed sowing, taking advantage of the Stell’Air’s high work output.
Featuring a ladder to fill the hopper, the latter is compact and effortlessly folds and unfolds.
