An evolving market gardening range

Actisol for market gardening, a complete agronomic solution

The market gardening range is being renewed ! But what does it stand for? The B1 (Actisol B1 teeth) and B2 (Actisol B2 teeth) Actisol market gardening ranges prepare beds of market garden crops from 1 to 2.90m in a single pass. They restructure the soil, avoid excess water and reduce the risk of disease. They can be used for cracking, scalping or loosening, thanks to their interchangeable wear parts for greater versatility with a single tool.

Fitted with fine, flowing Actisol tooth mounted on a double-beam frame, two tandem rollers and optional edge discs, they are suitable for all market gardening itineraries: bed or flat.

From B1 M to Vitéa market gardening

To standardise manufacturing processes, the Actisol design office has integrated the Vitéa vineyard frames into the B1 market garden range.

The difference between the two ranges lies in the rollers. The Vitéa vigne is fitted with a single support roller rather than the tandem roller (mixer roller + support roller) needed to prepare the beds for market gardening.

By using the same frame for both ranges, production times can be shortened thanks to a reduced number of references in stock. For the sake of consistency, the name of the B1 market gardening range has been changed to Vitéa maraîchage.

But this change of name was not just designed for our workshops. The new frame opens up the possibility of integrating an optional vertical lift, making manoeuvring easier at the end of narrow rows. Hydraulic extensions are no longer welded directly onto the frame, which is now designed to accommodate them as required. Finally, equipment storage is reduced by the roller’s ability to fold on top of the equipment. All these improvements for the benefit of our customers.

The B2 M range gets a makeover too

Just like the B1 M range, now called Vitéa maraîchage, the B2 M range has become Gaéa maraîchage. The design office followed the same logic, integrating the strengthened Gaéa Field Crops framework into the production process.

Improvements have been made to facilitate roller adjustment using a ladder system.

The choice of the latter has also widened. As the Gaéa market gardening range is more suited to open field crops, the options of cage roller, packer, omega or wellsol have been deployed to adapt to all types of soil.

Actisol is constantly looking for ways to improve, and adapts to the needs and expectations of its customers.
